LSC ESF Response to Redundancy Programme Results
The North West Learning and Skills council (LSCi) has published the results from the European Social Fund Response to Redundancy Procurement round. This provision is targeted at those in work under notice of redundancy, individuals who have recently become redundant or individuals who are unemployed but would be ready for employment after receiving after receiving skills development support.
Fair Access to the Professions
The Panel on Fair Access to the professions has published its final report. The Panel on Fair Access to the Professions was established to advise on how we can make a professional career genuinely open to as wide a pool of talent as possible.

Over the past year, the Risk and Regulation Advisory Council has been leading an experimental offensive against the mishandling of risk in society. It looked at how distorted perceptions of risks can encourage poor policy-making and unnecessary laws, leading people to feel that Government is interfering too much in their lives.
