The North West Learning and Skills council (LSCⁱ) has published the results from the European Social Fund Response to Redundancy Procurement round. This provision is targeted at those in work under notice of redundancy, individuals who have recently become redundant or individuals who are unemployed but would be ready for employment after receiving after receiving skills development support.

The Panel on Fair Access to the professions has published its final report. The Panel on Fair Access to the Professions was established to advise on how we can make a professional career genuinely open to as wide a pool of talent as possible.
