Application Process
The application process for Cheshire and Warrington LSCi is a one stage process, the application form is contained within their prospectus documentation. Applicants can register with the Development Funding Team at www.lscdf.org.uk to receive updates on Development Funding and information on Invitations to Tender on the Learning and Skills Council for Cheshire and Warrington’s new interactive Prospectus for Development Funding.
All tenders must be submitted on the LSC Cheshire and Warrington Tender Form and a separate Tender Form must be completed for each Tender Specification for which you are applying. All sections must be completed in full and the document must be signed and dated by an appropriate person with authority in the organisation.
The LSC will not accept any more pages of text than those provided for each section, any additional pages will be discarded prior to appraisal.
Please submit three signed paper copies (one must be an original signature) and one electronic copy on floppy-disk or CD-Rom of the completed Invitation to Tender Proposal Form and spreadsheet, with your most recent audited accounts or financial statements in a sealed envelope clearly marked in the top left-hand corner with the Tender Specification Reference e.g NW25a (0406) 4.1a. In completing the proposal you must use Arial 12 pt as formatted. Please ensure that each section is completed, as incomplete applications will not be processed.

Please ensure that your proposal reaches the LSC by the date and time specified on the Invitation to Tender document, as bids received after the relevant deadline will not be accepted. Please ensure your proposal forms are signed, as unsigned proposals will not be processed.
In seeking to raise the quality of opportunities available in Cheshire and Warrington, the LSC intends to develop relationships with new providers who:
- Can offer high quality programmes that meet identified needs
- Compliment other funded provision
- Are able to meet the criteria for funding
Cheshire and Warrington LSC will support potential new providers in the process of developing any necessary systems, in applying for Council funding and over time, in systematically improving the quality of the provision that they offer.
