The Home Office has launched the 2009 FRANK awards. The FRANK awards recognise people who have raised awareness of drug issues and/or reduced harm through innovative use of FRANK since January 2007.

A consultation on the draft North West Compact was launched on 12 November 2008. The Compact aims to improve partnership working and relationships between regional organisations within the Third Sectorⁱ and the public sector in the North West.

N2 (squared) Consulting have written ’A Practical Guide to: Working With Partnerships’ in conjunction with the Nottingham Voluntary Council to provide a step-by-step guide to planning, setting-up and launching a successful partnership in the Not-for-profit sector.

The LSCⁱ has published an updated version of the popular booklet ‘Equality and Diversity – what’s that then?’ This booklet is aimed primarily at learners.
