The Learning and Skills Council (LSCⁱ) have announced their next 'freeze date' for the LSC Qualified Provider Framework (QPF). This will be 10 December 2009.

This strategy sets out how the Equality and Human Rights Commission plans to use its powers to carry out its human rights duties over the next three years.

The UK Commission for Employment and Skills has just published ‘Towards Ambition 2020: Skills, Jobs, Growth’. This is a report which contains their advice to government on how the UK’s education, employment and skills systems could be simplified, made more effective and become more responsive to the needs of their customers.

This document published by the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS) sets out the Government's national skills strategy for a system that provides a higher level of vocational experience, promotes a greater mix of work and study, and encourages skills that are transferable from job to job.
