Train to Gain guides for the Third Sector

Train to Gain is the national skills Service that support employers of all sizes and in all sectors to improve the skills of their employees as a route to improving their business performance. Train to Gain has produced three guides for Third Sectori organisations:

Document Retention for ESF 1997-1999 projects

Guidance has been issued by the European Social fund Division about documentation retention for the 1994 to 1999 programming period (or 97 to 99 for Objectives 3 & 4).

Imroving Financial Relationships with the Third Sector: Guidance to Funders and Purchasers

The cross cutting review of the Role of the Voluntary and Community Sector in Service Delivery recommended that the HMTreasury publish Guidance to Funders, to clarify what is and is not permitted under Government Accounting as it applies to the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCSi).

This training event is being held at the Stockport Town Hall, Stockport on 18 June 2009. This management session is designed specifically for the voluntary sector, but brings some of the newest theories from the private and other sectors.
