The next 'freeze date' of the Learning and Skills Council (LSCⁱ) Qualified Provider Framework (QPF) will be 5pm on 9 April 2009. Potential providers who have not completed Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) by 9 April will not be invited to respond to Invitations to Tender (ITTs) issued in the next anticipated round in May 2009.

In response to the economic downturn, key agencies in the North West have developed a coordinated response to support individuals to acquire the necessary skills to secure and maintain employment.

As a direct consequence of the economic downturn the LSCⁱ has introduced significant changes to their learning programmes so that they are better able to meet the needs of employers and individuals.

The Regional Strategy for the Northwest provides a unique opportunity to bring together North West's spatial, economic, social and environmental strategies and build a new long term vision for the region.
