This report presents key findings from the Region on the National Employer Skills Survey 2007. Since National Employer Skills Survey 2007 (NESS07) was completed there has been a sharp and synchronised global economic downturn.

The Working Futures Economic forecasts are produced by the University of Warwick’s Institute for Employment Research for the UK Commission for Employment and Skills. They provide employment volume projections for the period 2007 to 2017.

The Cabinet Office has launched the Generations Together programme, which will fund 12 projects across the country where young and older people can engage with each other on equal terms, break down barriers and challenge negative stereotypes.

This is the third in a series of manuals published by the European Anti Poverty Network (EAPN) for its members and more broadly for social inclusion Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) determined to ensure that the structural fundsⁱ are effective instruments for making Europe a more inclusive society.
