Compact Commissioning Guidance Published
The Commission for the Compact has recently published new implementation guidance on commissioning.
Real Help for Communities: Volunteers, Charities and Social Enterprises
The Government has pledged £42.5 million to help volunteers, charities and social enterprises deliver extra real help to those that need it most, during the global economic downturn.
The Compact and the independence of the sector
Guidance is currently being drafted by the Learning and Skills Council on how the Compact can be used to promote and protect the independence of the third sectori.

The government has launched plans for building fair chances for everyone to succeed in the new economy.
