Adult Skills Budget enhance offer to support 19-24 NEET


As part of ongoing commitment to young people aged 19-24 Not in Employment Education or Training (NEET) group the Chief Executive of Skills Funding Agency (the Chief Executive) has decided to make available between £5 and £10 million to Third Sectori Training Organisations. The grant is available to Third Sector Organisations in Receipt of single Adult Skills Budget by way of grant to enhance the work they currently do with the young adults NEET and support them in developing their provision to do with the unemployed  to provide packages of support which enable those who are NEET to go back on the journey to formal skills training and employment.

Launch of ESF Community Learning Grants in the North West


The Community Grants Programme in the North West is now being launched. Nearly £2m is available to be given out over the next two years in the North West as ESFi Community Learning Grants.

NCVO/LVSTC Conference: ESF Support for Families to Tackle Poverty


This conference is held at NCVO, Regent's Wharf, 8 All Saints Street, London N1 9RL, on 28 November 2011. The conference will consider the wider issues around the ESFi DWP Programme for “Families with Multiple Problems” scheme.
