Celebrating Regional Achievement: ESF Community Grants - October 2013
Over 150 local projects from the North West have celebrated their achievements in helping people become more work-ready and succeed in finding jobs, as part of the Community Learning Grants Programme of the European Social Fund.
Network for Europe staff attended the WEA (Workers' Educational Association) Community Grants celebration event which was held in Manchester in October 2013. WEA has been administering the Community Grants programme in the North West since 2011, Network for Europe has been a partner in the project steering group providing advice on technical issues.
The programme will come to an end in December 2013 spending nearly £2m ESFi money to help people from deprived communities get a step closer in their journey to work.
