Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC)

Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) is running a competition for all children and young people who work with learning mentors, to understand how learning mentors make a difference to their lives.Each entrant should send in a visual or word description to show how their learning mentor helps them. This could be:

  • An A4-size picture describing their relationship with their learning mentor and how it helps them.
  • A word application in the form of a poem or story describing their relationship with their learning mentor and how it has made a positive difference.
  • A mixture of word and pictures such as a cartoon showing their relationship with their learning mentor and how it has made a positive difference.

All applications should fit on one A4 side of paper.CWDC will be picking two prize winners, one between the age of 7-11 and one aged 12-16.
All entries need to be sent to Julia Tortise at CWDC by 14 December 2007 by post to Children's Workforce Development Council, 3rd Floor Friends Provident House, 13-14 South Parade, Leeds LS1 5QS
