City Council to Make More Grants Available for Local Projects

Manchester City Council will be increasing this year’s CAS:H grants programme by half a million pounds, which means £1.5 million can be allocated to help communities improve their local environment. In previous years, grants have been awarded for cleaning and landscaping waste ground, improving existing community facilities, improving the safety of pedestrian or play areas or planting trees, flowers or shrubs. For more information on how to apply for a CAS:H grant and an application form, call 0161 234 3136 or e-mail voluntary.sector.grants@notes.manchester.gov.uk
