Co‑operative Diversity Action

Co-operatives UK has launched Co‑operative Diversity Action, a website and action group that provides strategies, resources and guidance to encourage more people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities to get involved in co‑operative enterprises. Co‑operative Diversity Action will:

• Raise awareness of the benefits and business case for BAME communities getting involved in co‑operative enterprise
• Work with others to develop resources, strategies and ideas for increasing ethnic diversity in co‑operatives
• Disseminate resources, strategies and ideas across the co‑operative movement and suggest methods of implementation
• Work at a strategic level to promote the co‑operative model of business to BAME communities
