Community Engagement: Some Lessons from the New Deal for Communities Programme

One of the distinctive features of the New Deal for Community (NDC) programme is that it puts communities at its heart, seeking to embed community engagement in its structures and working practices and develop capacity within local communities to engage on local issues.
