The future role of the third sectori in social and economic regeneration.
\

\
This is an important opportunity for the voluntary, community and faith (VCF) sector to influence local as well as national policy and how money will be spent on the sector over the next ten years.
\

\
This is part of the HM Treasury and Cabinet Office’s 2006 Budget, and they are undertaking a review into the future role of the third sector in social and economic regeneration in England. This is the largest ever consultation with the voluntary, community and faith sector in the U.K. to review the future role of the third sector in social and economic regeneration in the context of the long-term challenges our society faces.

There is an event planned for 2 October 2006 in Manchester to enable Black and Minority Ethnic organisations to respond to the government review. More details and booking forms are available through the One North West website.
