Does your Organisation Provide Support to People who Manage Volunteers?

If so, we really want to hear from you!

The England Volunteering Development Council (EVDC) North West is taking part in a mapping exercise for Volunteering England. The exercise seeks to identify the many different types of support that is currently available for people managing volunteers in the north west region.

The results of the mapping exercise will feed directly into Volunteering England's Volunteer Management Portal, which aims to provide people managing volunteers with access to information, support, training and development opportunities. It is also hoped that the data collected will serve as a useful piece of regional intelligence.

If your organisation does provide support services to people who manage volunteers, we would like to sign-post and promote your organisation and its services through the Volunteer Management Portal. This involves promoting a link to your website, displaying your contact telephone number and providing a small amount of information about the support you provide.

If you would like to take part, you will find an online questionnaire at:

It is envisaged that the questionnaire will take about 15 minutes to complete.

As is often the case, the timescale for this exercise is relatively short, therefore may we kindly ask that questionnaires be completed by Friday 19 February 2010.

We very much hope that you will be able to take part in this exercise. Thank you for your time and consideration, your contribution is very much appreciated.
