Evaluation of the England Rural Development Programme
An independent evaluation of the impact of the England Rural Development Programme (ERDP) since its inception in 2000, recommends that better integration with other funding mechanisms would help bring economic, social and environmental improvements to rural areas. All EUi Member States must operate rural development programmes as part of their implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy. The ERDP is funded by the EU and by match fundingi from the Treasury. Copies of the mid-term review can be found on the DEFRAi website.
