Fighting Poverty Essay Competition

The College of Europe is inviting submissions from young people aged 18-25 years for the IMAGINE essay competition. The essay must focus on the role of Europeans in the fight against poverty and in achieving the millennium development goals. The prize will include an internship at the World Bank, cash prizes of Euro 1,000 and 2,000 and an opportunity to take part in field visits to World Bank projects in developing countries. The deadline for submissions is 29 February 2004.
