Greater Manchester Learning Agreement Pilot Invitation to Tender

The Learning Agreement Pilot is a joint initiative between the Learning and Skills Council and Connexions. There are eight areas of the country selected for the pilot, including Greater Manchester.

The pilot will run from 1 April 2006 for a period of two years. In Greater Manchester the pilot is designed to offer a range of support and incentives to enable 16-17 year olds who are in jobs without training to gain accredited qualifications.

Further to the Consultation and Launch Event Greater Manchester LSCi held in February, Greater Manchester LSC have now launched an Invitation to Tender to deliver provision to 16-17 year olds who are in jobs without training. Organisations wishing to tender to deliver provision as part of the Learning Agreement Pilot in Greater Manchester should submit their tender by 12.00 noon Tuesday 2 May 2006.
