Greater Manchester LSC

LSCⁱ Greater Manchester
The LSC Greater Manchester (GMLSC) is one of 47 arms of the national LSC; the LSC as a whole is responsible for an annual budget of over £8 billion that funds post-16 education and training through a national network of further education (FE) colleges and learning providers. The work of the LSC is focused on plans to achieve the post-16 National Learning Targets, and ensure that the learning it funds is high quality and enhances equality of opportunity.
LSC Greater Manchester is one of the 5 local LSCs operating within the North West Objective 3ⁱ programme area. (The operational area of the North West Objective 3 programme comprises the counties of Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Greater Merseyside and Lancashire.) The Greater Manchester area covers 10 local authority districts:
