Leonardo da Vinci

The Leonardo da Vinci programme is part of the European Commission's new Lifelong Learning Programme and is designed to build a skilled workforce through European partnerships. Leonardo funds overseas work placements and the development of training materials with the objective of improving the provision of Vocational Education and Training (VET) across Europe.
There are calls for proposals concerning the following Community measures:

  • Mobility of individuals: vocational education and training abroad or training placements in enterprises; or mobility of professionals in vocational education and training. Deadline 8 February 2008
  • Partnership Projects focusing on themes of mutual interest to the participating organizations.  Deadline15 February 2008
  • Multilateral projects in particular those aimed at improving training systems by focusing on the transfer of innovation involving the linguistic, cultural and legal adaptation to national needs of innovative products and processes developed in different contexts. Deadline 14 March 2008
