Raising funds from the Rich

Date:
Wed, 14/10/2009

This event is being held at Central Hall Westminster on 14 October 2009. ‘Raising funds from the Rich’ is an annual conference which enables you to learn directly from Britain’s most generous charity donors and leading specialists on major donor fundraising.
Attended by 1,000 people each year, this event is designed for chief executives, trustees and directors to attend with their fundraisers, for all have a key role to play in securing high net worth individuals as donors.
Charities’ income from major donors has grown rapidly in recent years as a new generation of self-made rich is increasingly using its wealth to help charities make a difference. Even during the current recession, many charities continue to grow income by focusing on major donors.
The conference examines how to identify, engage and retain the wealthy as major donors. It is organised by fundraising and strategy consultants, Action Planning, with ACEVO and Virgin Money Giving in association with Coutts & Co, CAF, the Institute of Chartered Accountants and New Philanthropy Capital.
This year Sir Richard Branson and lastminute.com founder, Martha Lane Fox, will be amongst the speakers.
