The Regional Strategy for the Northwest provides a unique opportunity to bring together North West's spatial, economic, social and environmental strategies and build a new long term vision for the region.

The Government is seeking views on priorities for its future work and strategy to tackle race inequalities. Through this consultation the government is interested in hearing peoples' views on a range of issues which includes care, economic development, education and skills, employment, jobs and careers, housing, the justice system and social issues.

The Learning and Skills Council (LSCⁱ) is currently planning to issue Invitations to Tender (ITTs) in April/May 2009 around a range of  ESFⁱ Priorityⁱ 1 actions. Whilst the details are yet to be confirmed regarding this round of procurement the LSC are keen to hear ideas Third Sectorⁱ organisations may have about the content of the ITTs.
