Third Sector National Learning Alliance Conference - November 2015

Third Sectori national Learning Alliance (TSNLA) is a national body with which Network for Europe works closely on issues relating to the employment and skills elements of the European Social Fund, in particular.They have a national conference in partnership with BIS in November and a small number of travel bursaries are available to VSCE organisations who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend. DETAILSThe third annual conference for TSNLA and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills is on the 11 November in London - and its free courtesy of the Department. Book now! There are some places remaining.At 'Tackling Economic Growth & Disadvantage Through Skills: the Third Sector Contribution' - the aims are to: 

  1. Raise awareness of Government policy affecting economic growth, disadvantage and skills development
  2. Spotlight Third sector practice in key areas such as Traineeships, pre-apprenticeships support and Apprenticeships
  3. Highlight the distinctive Third Sector contribution and specific issues affecting this
  4. Explore the Continuing Professional Development implications for Third Sector employers and practitioners
  5. Give you opportunities for debate, reflection and shared good practice

There will be perspectives from employers and learners within the Third Sector, from government and from the agency responsible for continuing professional development in adult education.We have confirmed speakers from City Gateway, Pathway and Fair Train from the third sector,  BIS from government and the Education and Training Foundation.
