Cheshire and Warrington LSC published five invitations to tender (ITT's)on 23 and 26 June 2006.
Please note that this is a local invitation to tender for activity in Cheshire, Warrington and Halton only.

The invitations to tender are:

NW25D (0406) 2.1e
The LSC is seeking to fund project activity that will meet the Skills for Life needs of individuals that require a relatively short training intervention (up to approximately 30 guided learning hours) in order to achieve a national test in literacy or numeracy. Closing date: 12.00 noon 7 August 2006. Funding available: £241,000 Project timescales:1 September 2006 – 30 June 2008.

NW25D (0406) 2.2h
LSC Cheshire & Warrington are seeking to support projects to work alongside the Cheshire (CYOT) and the Halton and Warrington Youth Offending Teams (HWYOT). The young people identified will be at risk of exclusion from mainstream education or post 16 provisions and either have an offending background or be at risk of offending or anti-social behaviour. Appropriate young people will be identified through existing mechanisms within both CYOT and HWYOT. Closing date: 7 August 2006. Funding available: £142,375. Project timescales: August 2006 - 30 June 2008.

Cheshire & Warrington LSC is seeking to support providers and partnerships that will build on the successful elements of the E2E Extra programme that we have funded from November 2004 to-date. Closing date: 7 August 2006. Funding available: £250,000. Project timescales: August 2006 - 30 June 2008.

The Learning and Skills Council Cheshire and Warrington wishes to invite proposals from providers that will deliver projects to re-engage young people in learning. The proposal will target young people at key stage 4 who are excluded or at risk of exclusion from school, and/or target resources at those pupils who will benefit from a more vocationally focused programme of delivery. Closing date: 7 August 2006. Funding available £600,000 Project timescales August 2006 - 31 July 2008.

To support the professional development of the ESOL workforce. Closing date: 7 August 2006. Funding available £55,000 Project timescales: September 2006 – March 2008.

Cheshire and Warrington Invitation to Tender

NW25B (0406) 3.2f: The invitation to tender is seeking to support partnerships that deliver elements of skills and vocational qualifications to a specified target group of young people (16-19) seeking employment in Engineering related occupations in the Chemical Sector and related industries in West Cheshire.

The closing date for applications to be received at Cheshire and Warrington LSC is 12.00 noon 13 July 2006. This call is looking for projects that run from July 2006 to December 2007.
