The final report for Unlocking the potential of the BME Population, produced by Experian and Inclusion, is now on the Regional Intelligence Unit's Extranet.

The study sought to examine the reasons why we are continuing to see the employment, education and business trends that exist in the labour market characteristics of the BME population and to provide recommendations as to where the North West Development Agency (NWDAi) should best focus their attention in terms of priorities and actions and brings together the wide range of quantitative and qualitative information gathered during the course of the research.

The report is used to develop the NWDA's approach to Equality and Economic Inclusion and will be widely disseminated with the directorates and teams within the Agency to ensure it has an impact on BME priorities, programmes and projects.
