Youth in The World: Youth In Action Programme

Youth in Action is the new EUi Programme in the field of youth, which was implemented from 1 January 2007 until 31 December 2013 with a total budget of €885 million. It is the successor of the YOUTH Programme (2000-2006). In order to achieve its objectives, the Youth in Action Programme foresees five operational Actions. Action 3 – ‘Youth in the World’ - will support projects promoting cooperation in the youth sector with partner countries other than the EU’s neighbouring countries. Projects must deal with at least one of the following matters:
strengthening civil society, citizenship and democracy; fighting racism and xenophobia; inter-ethnic and interreligious dialogue; post-conflict resolution and reconstruction; the active role of women in society; or minority rights. For further information please visit the website link below.
